My name is Nicole Ng-A-Qui

For Nicole Ng-A-Qui, horses have been a lifelong passion—one that began over 40 years ago. At just 9 years old, Nicole started caring for horses, developing a deep respect for the fundamentals: quality feed, proper nutrition, and fresh, clean water—essentials that are never compromised under her care.
Nicole’s riding journey began in Western style, but her curiosity and love for the sport led her to explore and succeed in English disciplines, including dressage, jumping, and eventing. She competed on her collegiate equestrian team in Colorado and has since built a quiet, yet enduring, presence in Washington’s horse community alongside her beloved gelding, Flach (pronounced “Flash”). Flach inspired the stables’ motto: “Good things come to those who neigh,” a heartfelt reflection of the nurturing philosophy behind Owl Creek Stables.
Today, Nicole continues to ride, train and learn on a small scale, dedicating the bulk of her time to the personalized, high-quality care of every horse boarded at Owl Creek. Horses that come to Owl Creek quickly discover that Owl Creek is a place where they can leave their baggage at the door, they let go of stress, feel safe, and thrive.
Hi I'm Nicole, and I am happiest when caring for horses. I love this barn's open-air structure, allowing horses to enjoy abundant natural light and fresh air. Owl Creek Stables is more than a facility; it’s a sanctuary for horses and a place where passion, care, and connection come first.
